Short Escapes From Dublin: Greystones Cliff Walk

by Weekendliving

On our latest trip to Dublin the weather was so unexpectedly brilliant, most days were sunny with temperatures well in to the twenties, that we spent most of the time outside soaking up the Riviera-style sun. Ireland is known for its picturesque countryside scenes, and the great thing is that you can easily access some great walks from Dublin city centre via public transport. We took the DART to Greystones, and from there walked along the cliff path to Bray. In all, taking into account the walk to both Greystones’ and Bray’s DART stations, the walk is around 9km, but is easy to navigate and is not too difficult in terms of terrain. It’s a great walk to do in the morning, after a hearty breakfast, so you can finish off with some lunch – either at Bray or Greystones, depending on which way you decide to walk!

Check back this Sunday to see my monster of a hike around Glendalough!
